Unleashed their latest EP “Resistencia”, featuring 6 tracks, each with a unique vibe and purpose. The works were originally developed by JC Bassicly who wrote the lyrics and composed the music with a melodica, guitar and bass. In the hands of Costa Rebel, each tune became a crafted masterpiece that showcases the versatility and range of FiNiX. The result is an EP that captures a spectrum of emotions, all the while uplifting the listener and emboldening them to stand up and fight for what’s right.
“This EP sounds the trumpet of resistance and ushers in a new age of solidarity and peaceful revolution,” the band shares.
Founded in 2023, FiNix began as a simple recording project and quickly grew into a full reggae collective with 20 members currently. Two years later, the group has already performed more than 50 shows across the USA, Jamaica, and Brazil, building an impressive international grassroots following. Earlier this year, FiNiX released the singles “Culture Maker”, “Where Are The Leaders”, and “WEak Are Strong” and now “Resistencia” closes out this historic year with a bang.
The new EP will premiere live at a local Jamaica Hurricane Relief concert and will be part of all future set lists. A booking push is underway to fill up next year’s calendar and expand the band’s geographic reach. A strong promotional push will follow, including:
• An email campaign from Costa Rebel Studio reaching over 2,000 reggae industry contacts worldwide (selectors, DJs, radio stations, online shows, and reggae media).
• A robust social media campaign, with Reels, TikToks, and consistent new content.
• A commitment to releasing a new song every month, boosting traction across Spotify,
YouTube, and other platforms.
