Lutan Fyah and FiNiX Drop Hot New Dance Tune “When It Falls”

The pep talk you’ve been needing, on top of a fire riddim by Costa Rebel.


[Kingston, Jamaica / San José, Costa Rica / Brazil] – January 2026 – Jamaican Reggae powerhouse Lutan Fyah and up and coming international reggae collective FiNiX have unleashed their latest single “When It Falls”, a collaboration that blends the best of all worlds. The Story of a Gyal Riddim by Costa Rebel was selected for the project, then Lutan Fyah came up with the concept and recorded a smooth flow before JC Bassicly tied them together into a complete and upful track.


The result is a single that makes the body move while convincing the listener that they have the power to rise above and be all they can be. It is a song about how life is hard, and how you need to rise to the challenge and try your very best to leave a legacy worth being proud of. And this Rastafari champion sound would not be complete without a nod to the healing power of ganja, so we tip our cap to all the cannabis people worldwide.


“This single is our first collaboration and we could not be more thrilled that it happened with one of our favorite Jamaican legends of all time!” the band shares.


About the Artists:


Lutan Fyah (born Anthony Martin on December 4, 1975) is a renowned Jamaican reggae and dancehall artist affiliated with the Bobo Ashanti rastafari movement. Known for conscious lyrics, he began his career in 1999, recording over 200 songs and 13 albums, with hits like "Never Surrender My Faith" and "Longest Liver". Before music, he was a professional footballer for Constant Spring FC and studied architecture.


Founded in 2023, FiNix began as a simple recording project and quickly grew into a full reggae collective with 20 members currently. Two years later, the group has already performed more than 50 shows across the USA, Jamaica, and Brazil, building an impressive international grassroots following. Earlier this year, FiNiX released the singles “Culture Maker”, “Where Are The Leaders”, and “WEak Are Strong” as well as the timeless EP “Resistencia”.


Marketing Plans:

The track will be broadcast across the airwaves on numerous radio shows. A series of shows in Jamaica are being planned where this song will be performed by the artists as they make a music video. A strong promotional push will follow, including:


• An email marketing campaign from Costa Rebel Studio reaching over 2,000 reggae industry contacts worldwide (selectors, DJs, radio stations, online shows, and reggae media).
